This year we would like to move away from sending letters home in the  post and move to using electronic communication including email; text and the website.

Reports and Parental Meetings

Reports will be issued to parents 3 times a year in Terms 2, 4 and 6. The reports will detail the progress being made by students as well as the expected grades each student should be achieving. 
The assessment data contained within the reports will be based on summative assessment sessions carried out by each individual subject area. 
Parental meetings will be structured throughout the school year and dates can be obtained from the school calendar. It is planned that these will take place in the evenings from 5pm-8pm.
There will be an additional Year 7 parental evening at the start of Term 2 that will be hosted by the Form Tutor. This will give a good understanding of how the student has settled into the Academy and provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about their wellbeing and academic progress.
Appointments are made in advance with individual teachers for individual subjects. If it is not possible to attend the evening, telephone appointments should be made between the parents/carers and subject teacher.
