Links with Parents

Parents and carers are involved in student induction and contact continues through the student planner, reports on students’ progress, consultation evenings, and academic review days. Students have individual meetings with their tutor twice a year. These meetings provide an opportunity to review achievement, identify any problems and set targets for future progress. Parents and students are invited to discuss progress on all examination courses as well as at Parent/Teacher/ Student consultation evenings. This process is highly valued by everyone and enables us to support each student in an individual way, and to promote maximum progress.

We keep in touch with parents via our newsletters, and invite parents and carers to a variety of school performances and events throughout the year.
