Life-saving equipment for a small school with a big heartPosted on: 18/11/2017
Earlier this year the FA joined forces with the British Heart Foundation to part-fund and place defibrillators in grass roots football clubs around the country. Sturry Kings FC, a community football club run entirely by volunteers saw this as an opportunity too good to miss and were lucky enough to be successful in their application.
This life-saving equipment will be housed at Spires Academy, home to Sturry Kings 9 aside, 11 aside and adult teams. Parents of Spire’s pupils will also benefit from the peace of mind, knowing that this life-saving equipment is on-site at the school. (although naturally everyone hopes it will never need to be used)
