Year 12 Cricket Academy - Eleanor ToddPosted on: 06/11/2018
Eleanor Todd had her best season ever taking 51 wickets, being leading wicket taker in both the Canterbury Cricket Club women’s sides and Whitstable Cricket Club U18s boys’ side. This outstanding performance for the boys’ team resulted in her becoming their leading wicket taker! Eleanor also finished the season number 7 on the top ten bowling table for women’s cricket in the South East. Overall, Eleanor had a fantastic season and her hard work and dedication is clearly proving worthwhile. Eleanor is part of Spires’ Cricket Academy, which is run in conjunction with The King’s School. At Spires, she studies the BTEC Sport Extended Diploma (Level 3) whilst gaining coaching experience at local primary schools. Eleanor is also taking part in The King’s School training sessions at Kent Cricket Club, which is led by two ex-England international cricketers, Mark Ealham and Susie Rowe.
